STEVE MADDENSteve can usually be found doing copious amounts of exercise and sport, eating, listening to/playing music, or complaining about how sleep gets in the way of life! At 6'5" and uncomfortably energetic, surviving in a toy car for many hours a day for weeks on end will undoubtedly be his biggest challenge of the journey.
Steve's motivation for the Mongol Rally lies in challenging himself, experiencing some rarely seen and spectacular cultures and sights of Europe and Central Asia with great company, and to raise money for a good cause along the way. Special talents for rally include mapping & planning, liaising with charity organisations and donors, and the ability to run a marathon through the Uzbekistani desert for help if required! |
CRAIG HOGANCraig can't get enough of board sports, music and planning insane holidays. He is looking forward to discovering the true meaning of adventure, experiencing a huge variety of cultures in a relatively short period of time and having an opportunity to support charities who do great work for those in need.
Special talents including planning, daydreaming and getting overexcited about things. |
BROOKE MARSHALLBrooke enjoys the internet and long sleeps. He is the ultimate pessimist and is annoyed that they cannot tackle the rally "Dakar" style in a car that is more suitable and ultimately more fun. Brooke sees his biggest hurdle staying alive through all of the developing countries he may have to travel through.
Brooke is looking forward to giving himself food poisoning by never turning down any local food that may be offered. He plans to use this as part of his weight loss plan as promoted by Oprah. Special talents include repairing cars and amateur stunt driving. |
Samuel SaintySamuel is awesome and we’re so stoked to have him joining us from Romania to the Iranian / Turkmenistan border. Samuel’s goal in life is to make sure he’ll die with a smile on his face and is really looking forward to Iran as he feels the country has a bad rep it doesn't deserve. He intends to challenge for the top speed record for the rally across a non-tarmac section.
Special talents include spending the other guys money, complaining about the rally’s rules and having a cry at the Turkmenistan border when he gets left behind… F*ck Yeah Sam, you’re a champ! |
