Monday 14th July - 6 Days to Launch
Steve arrives in at our place in London around lunch. We took a tube to Wembley to check into our luxurious 2 star hotel room with 3 single beds crammed tightly against each other. We were surprised to find Wembley has one of the highest Indian and Middle Eastern populations in London and we looked somewhat out of place but it fitted with the theme of the rally. After heading out to buy our camping gear and returning to have a quick power nap, we headed into West End for our first night proper night out in London on an epic pub crawl. London never sleeps. Even on a Monday things were absolutely going off.
Sunday 13th July - 7 Days to Launch
While we waited for Steve to arrive, Alex and Ruby took us to the Camden markets to check out London hipsters in their natural element. After eating excessive amounts of delicious market food we chilled out with a few beers on a picturesque rooftop bar overlooking a canal.
Saturday 12th July - 8 Days to Launch
The journey begins. Brooke and Craig touch down at Heathrow. After a £105 taxi fare to Alex's place in Angel (Central London) at midday (oops), they were exposed to their first taste of what it is to live in London; our good mate Alex and his girlfriend Ruby were both still up from partying previous night and joined us for a few beers in the sun. Brooke drank a few too many and after starting to talk very loudly suddenly fell asleep in his chair.
